The Biggest Struggle So Far

Moving house is hard.

That is definitely the one thing I took away from the first big move my partner and I did back in December. The box building, bubble wrapping, packing, right down to taping the boxes closed and that was before we'd even considered getting everything down the stairs.

It was the easily the most stressful thing either of us had ever done and I definitely do not plan on doing it again in a hurry, however, the best thing? The styling.

I'd never thought of homeware as being something I loved so much (as we had quite a small apartment we were really limited to what else we could cram in). But alas, we have a house and so much space to fill that it has been my favourite pass-time. Pinterest really is my new best friend.

With this in mind, I thought I'd share just a few of the thing I've bought more recently.

I am absolutely in love with these pillows from George. They dress the white bed sheets so well and are absolutely adorable. The lamps on the left and right are both from Homebase and I think the mismatched look adds something to an otherwise plain room.

These beautiful vintage style cups are from Oliver Bonas and were an absolute bargain. It was so hard not to add the whole collection to my basket. Also, incase you are wondering, the radio sitting behind them is from Curry's

These alphabet letters from Oliver Bonas sit on top of the shelving unit in our kitchen and look great against the white wall. I really wanted them both to be copper, but the H has been sold out since December!

This. Just look at it. Perfection. We had been searching high and low for the perfect record player to compliment out living room having both had piles of records and nothing to play them on. Just after Christmas, I stumbled upon this wonder in Urban Outfitters, safe to say I was heading straight to the checkout and not looking back.

I hope you enjoyed seeing a few snippets of my home, I'd love to see the things you have been buying recently!
