How can we stop procrastination?



You know, the other day I put up a photo frame that had been sitting on the same chair for 7 weeks. I saw it every single day and I said to myself 'I've definitely got to put that up later'. 

Of course, later never came and it was soon 'I should really put that photo frame up.. next weekend'. Do you see where this is going? Well I didn't.

I continued day after day, putting off hanging the photo frame. It didn't even need to be hung, I bought Command Strips. How lazy right?

My point is, when I lie in bed at night - or get a minute in the day to think - I get annoyed with myself for putting the smallest things..

  • Hang the photo frame
  • Try out the Charlotte Crosby DVD I bought in April
  • Replace the batteries in the Sky remote
  • Put the make up wipes that I've used in the bin - Gross I know

And the more I think about it, the more I realise there's a never ending list of such things that I am putting off..

  • Make more time for breakfast 
  • Get my 7 hours sleep
  • Sort out the cardboard recycling

I really envy the people in life that just get stuff done. I need to be one of those people. How do they do it?
