Eight Ways to Use Eight Hour Cream

We all have that beauty product that we reach for time and time again. We reach for it because we know what it does and we know that it works and whether it's your favourite mascara or a skin-changing serum, these two things are absolutely key.

That product, for me, is Eight Hour Cream. The Skin Protectant to be specific.

I first tried this cream just over a year ago. I was travelling to America and realised at the airport that I'd left all of my skincare at home. I'd heard of the Eight Hour Cream on blogs before and by chance, found a 'starter pack' of Elizabeth Arden skincare in duty free. From then on I was hooked.

In all honestly, I love every product I've tried from Elizabeth Arden but this one just seems like the holy grail. It's the one I go back to over and over and the one I recommend to anyone who asks. This cream has made a bit of a comeback on blogs recently and it's amazing to see how many different ways it can be used. So,without further ado, today I thought I'd tell you the eight ways I like to use eight hour cream.

Dry Skin | I wouldn't use this as an all body moisturiser but it's great for dry patches. I mostly find myself using the tiniest bit on my nose and around the perimeter of my face.

Tough Skin | There is no better feeling than swiping Eight Hour Cream over your hard working hooves to make them soft again. You don't even need a lot, a little bit goes a long way.

Lips | Eight Hour Cream is an absolute lip saver (see what I did there) in the winter months or to be honest, whenever your lips are feeling a little dry and in need of TLC. The Lip Repair from the same line is also a great option.

Stubborn Patches | I'm not an avid fake tan user but when I do, I always make sure to put this on my elbows, knees and ankles for a few minutes before hand. I make sure to wipe it off before applying.

Cuticles | Before giving myself an at-home mani, I like to massage this into my cuticles to make sure they're soft as can be.

Minor Burns | You know the burns I mean where you catch your ear on the straighteners or accidentally touch your hand on a baking tray - basically a burn that doesn't need dressing or medical attention. I dab a little bit of this on after I've ran it under a tap.

Brows | On the days when I'm not wearing an ounce of make up, I use Eight Hour Cream as a brow gel. You'd be surprised but it actually does a really good job of grooming them and keeping them in place.

Chapped Skin/Chafing/Peeling | I've used Eight Hour Cream in the past when my legs have been chafing and it's never disappointed. It's not only soothing but I find it makes the healing process so much easier. Same for peeling, it works wonders on re-hydrating and repairing the skin.
I'd love to know if you use Eight Hour Cream and what your holy grail products are!
