Who To Watch at Reading and Leeds 2017

Who To Watch at Reading and Leeds 2017
It's almost that time of year again. A time when the festivals are almost over but there's that one to look forward to. Reading and Leeds. Last year was my first year at R & L and I have to say, I had a blast. Standing there on a sunny bank holiday, beer in hand and surrounded by thousands of people who were there, like me, to listen to some of the best music around.

Sadly I'm not going to either of the festivals this year but just like last year, I'm going to round up my top picks for who to check out at Reading and Leeds this year.

Kasabian | I have to admit, I've never been a huge Kasabian gal but after I caught then on Jools Holland a few months ago showcasing 'You're In Love With A Psycho', it's really made me want to go out and see them tour.

Mallory Knox | I don't think there will ever be a festival where I don't recommend seeing these guys. As I've said many times before, I love their sound, I love their energy and they're such a bloody good band to see.

Korn | I mean, it's Korn.

You Me At Six | I can't believe that I've never seen You Me At Six live when I loved them so much throughout my teenage years. I didn't manage to catch their 'secret set' last year but they're gracing the festival again and I think they're one to watch.

PVRIS | I've been absolutely loving PVRIS over the past year and let's face it, Lyndsey is life. They're such a great band and I seem to love everything they release.

MistaJam | Why the hell not?

Billy Talent | I'd never listened to Billy Talent before reading Joe's blog which is crazy because they're bloody fantastic. Afraid of Heights is such a great album and if you've never heard them before I'd highly recommend giving them a listen.

Jimmy Eat World | I absolutely love Jimmy Eat World and Bleed American was such a good album. I featured them in my 'bands to see live' post and I stand by what I say, they're great.
Are you heading to one of the festivals this year? Who's your favourite on the line up?
